You notice a lot of things in this picture. The star is the Faery Star, the 7 point star believed to symbolize the faeries/elves. It's also called the elven star. Each point represents something (Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Life, Light, Magic) or each direction (North, South, East, West, Above, Below, Within). The star itself represents pretty much everything - The spirit world.

As soon as I saw this star and learned about it, I knew it was for me.

The script around the star is the Elder Futhark Runes, which I have begun to learn. Starting from the moon symbol above it, they say : Magick, Valor, Dreams, Life, Love, Hope, Spirit, Heart, Mind, and Pride. 10 words that mean a great deal to me.

There are 10 symbols around the star that have meaning to me as well. My Libra sign, represeting me wanting balance in life. The sun and moon, the pentacle and triquetra (because I believe in the trinity of earth, sea, sky as well as the pentacle). And right under the pentacle, from left to right: The symbol for water, fire, air, and earth. And then last is the yin-yang, because I believe in the duality of people.

And you can obviously tell what the illustrations within the circle are. The butterflies in the last frame is ment to represent the spirit, because that's just as important to me as everything else.

This is for me, and only me. I've put a watermark on it, because I don't want any one else getting this on their skin but me. If you want to hang it on your wall, or something, that's cool. Just don't get it inked.
